CLUB REPAIR, ADJUSTMENT & BUILDING
Bay Meadows ClubWorks offers a full suite of golf club repair, building and adjustment equipment. Whether your club needs to be fixed, changed, or built from the ground up, we have everything required to fill your needs. We pride ourselves in our attention to detail and our commitment to doing things the right way. We strictly use industry leading tools such as our Mitchell Loft and Lie Machine, and exclusively work with major club supply brands like Golf Pride, True Temper, and more.
RE-GRIP
We offer golf grips from Golf Pride, WINN & SuperStroke. These grips come in a selection of sizes, colors and feel. There is no installation fee, you just pay the price of the grip and we put it on. We can build grips up as many layers as you’d like; under one hand, only on the underside, or however you’d like to get the exact feel you’re looking for. If you are doing just one or two clubs we can have them regripped within minutes. An entire set will always be done by the next day.
RE-SHAFT
We carry wood, hybrid, and iron shafts from brands like True Temper, KBS, Fujikura, and many more. We will cut the shaft to your desired length, tip the shaft with the required adaptor, epoxy the head, and grip the club with your choice of grip. We check the loft and lie of every club we re-shaft for no additional fee, and guarantee the integrity of the epoxy to the head.
CLUB CUT / EXTENSION
We can shorten or lengthen any club in your bag up to 2″. This can drastically change the way your club feels and can greatly improve the way your ball flies. We can also cut clubs from the tip-end, also known as “tipping” to change the flex of the shaft. Cuts from the butt-end will require a new grip and cuts from the tip-end will require a re-epoxy. We will always check the loft and lie of clubs that have been “tipped” for no additional fee.
CLUB BEND (LOFT & LIE)
The loft and lie of your golf club is the single most important and overlooked part of your arsenal. It is paramount to have a consistent change in loft as you go up through your bag, giving you a club for any distance from the green. Lie angle, or the angle of your leading edge relative to the shaft, can greatly impact the direction and spin your ball has off of the club face. We can bend any forged iron or wedge in your bag.
RE-EPOXY
Along with being a critical step of the club building procedure, the epoxy between the shaft and club head is the most common point of failure for a golf club. We use High Impact Epoxy with a shear strength of 4500psi, allowing us to guarantee the bond of every club we re-epoxy. Due to the nature of this epoxy, the club will need 24 hours to cure before it can be used. We check the loft and lie of every club we re-epoxy for no additional fee.

FAQ
How long does a re-grip take?
During the regular golf season, we are typically able to re-grip a club in a matter of minutes. If you have multiple clubs or a set to re-grip, we can always have it done by the next day.
Do you charge an additional fee for grip installation?
No. If you are buying the grips through us, there is no additional fee for grip installation.
I have my own grip, can you put it on?
Yes. We charge $5 per grip for installation if the grip was not purchased through us.
I want a grip that you don’t carry, can you special order it?
Most likely. We can order any grip currently in stock at GolfWorks. Click here to check availability.
I broke my shaft, what do I do?
Bring your club to us to inspect it, but the shaft will almost always need to be replaced. We will order the exact shaft, cut to spec, and regrip it. If your shaft is no longer availble, we will replace it with the closest possible shaft.
Which shafts do you carry?
There are hundreds of shafts currently on the market, so we are likely not stocking your shaft. We can order any shaft currently in stock at GolfWorks. Click here to check availability.
Will any iron shaft fit into my iron head?
No. There are two tip sizes for irons, and only one will fit your head. Contact us and we will let you know what you need, or we can order the shaft for you.
